HYBA 2025-26 - 1st through 8th Grade - Winter 2026

Harrison Youth Basketball Association (HYBA) is one of the largest of its kind in Georgia and provides boys 1st-12th and girls 1st-6th grade with the opportunity to learn and play. We practice once a week and play 8 games followed by a single-elimination tournament.  Games and practices take place at area middle schools when available and other local facilities.  9th-12th grade leagues practice early in the season but do not practice weekly.

We need coaches! This league consists of parent volunteer coaches. Check the appropriate box during registration to indicate your coaching interest.

1st-8th grade:

Coaches determine the practice schedule for their teams.  If you are not coaching, your practice night will be determined by the coach that drafts your player.  This could include any weeknight.  Games will take place on weekends.  Sunday games will always start at 1pm or later. 

For 1st-8th grade, we are unable to accommodate "same team" requests (exception is siblings in the same league).  Players are evaluated and drafted to ensure competitive balance.  The coaches pick the teams and the coaches pick the pratice schedule.

Eval Day is late Oct / early Nov, Practices Start early Nov, Games Start early Dec, Playoffs in early Feb

Early bird pricing for 1st-8th grade : $215   9th-12th grade : $190

Sibling Discount is $10

ANY PLAYERS THAT PLAY ON A SCHOOL-SPONSORED TEAM (private or public) CANNOT PLAY HYBA AT THE SAME TIME WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE LEAGUE DIRECTORS.  This is for any middle-school or high-school level team.  Players that register and continue to play for a HYBA team after making a school-sponsored team are at risk of being removed from HYBA with no refund and having their team's HYBA games forfeited.

Any HYBA registrant who makes a Middle School or High school team and cannot continue in HYBA will receive a 100% HYBA refund.
